Whitesnake is the seventh Whitesnake studio album.
Shortly after this album, David Coverdale fired John Sykes, Neil Murray, and Aynsley Dunbar and hired Vivian Campbell, Adrian Vandenberg, Rudy Sarzo, and Tommy Aldridge.
John Sykes formed the band Blue Murder soon after.
